Greetings and salutations to my brand-spanking-new blog.

Like so many bloggers, I am a young conservative. Unlike so many bloggers, I am a woman who went through the liberal arts gauntlet and chose to become a wife and mother.

Many of my friends are in graduate school, or applying to graduate school, or kicking off a high-octane career. They are worried about getting in, getting ahead, getting on to bigger things.

That's great. For them.

The path I have chosen for myself flies in the face of 40 years of feminist rhetoric. It has been maligned, ridiculed, pitied, and derided - but rarely looked at honestly.

This is my project. Wish me luck.
